MotoAtlas sets only the cookies needed to run the site: language, sign-in and your privacy choice. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies.
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It can keep a preference, keep you signed in or record a choice; it cannot read other files on your device.
Cookies are either technical — needed for the site to work — or used for analytics, advertising or profiling. MotoAtlas uses only the first kind.
motoatlas-lang — remembers whether you chose English or Italian. Duration: 12 months.
ma_consent — records the choice you make in the cookie banner (all or essential only). Duration: 180 days.
ma_rider — keeps you signed in to the rider area (passport and logbook). Duration: 30 days.
ma_pending_save — temporarily remembers the tour you wanted to save while you sign in. Duration: 30 minutes; it is httpOnly and never readable by scripts.
ma_session — sign-in for the editorial console only, never set for public visitors. Duration: up to 7 days, with a 30-minute idle timeout.
All of these are first-party technical cookies. None of them is used to profile you or to build an advertising audience.
We do not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social embeds or third-party fonts. Fonts, icons and route maps are served from this domain, so opening a page does not contact a third party.
Because no non-essential cookie exists, there is nothing to switch on: the banner records your decision and keeps the site transparent, but both choices leave the same technical cookies in place.
You can reopen the banner at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, then confirm “Accept all” or “Essential only”. Your choice is stored for 180 days.
Essential-only visitors keep language preference and sign-in working: those cookies are required to deliver the page you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. Blocking technical cookies does not stop you reading the site, but your language choice and any active sign-in will be lost on the next page.
Deleting the ma_consent cookie makes the banner appear again on your next visit.
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy. Questions about cookies go to privacy@motoatlas.com.
You can also contact the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
